About me… I joined the Air Force right out of high school and I have been an aircraft metals technologist for the Air Force for over ten years. I did four years active duty stationed at Holloman AFB in New Mexico working on the F-117 Nighthawk, since then I have been a Reservist at Peterson AFB working on the C-130 ever since. When I deployed to Afghanistan my goal was to come back and finish my mechanical engineering degree, while working closely with the engineers in Afghanistan I made the realization that I did not want to sit behind a desk for the rest of my working life.

What sets us apart from most other distilleries, other than our name is….

We use specialty grains and ingredients to create the best spirits. Our line up, we plan to eventually make it all whiskey, rum, moonshine, rye whiskey, vodka, gin, agave spirits, brandies, spiced rum, bourbon, ……

We will start with our P-51 Mustang Whiskey made from a Bourbon Mash, our FG-1D Corsair Silver Rum, and our P-38 Lightning Moonshine made from grain and molasses it’s flavor profile is somewhere in-between rum and whiskey we call it “risky” lol, The moonshine will also be available in an apple pie version that has a cinnamon stick and vanilla bean in the bottle. To witch many of my buddies have told me “my wife doesn’t drink, but she polished off the bottle, so I need another”

It is the mission of Cockpit Craft Distillery to provide its customers with 100% crafted in house, unique, small-batch craft spirits that possess the same quality and attention to detail found throughout the aviation industry while also embodying the rich American aviation history.

We plan to continue our support of the veteran community, and continue to challenge the boundaries of what constitutes spirits and cocktails.
